Combination and division test setup
The closing and opening control time of the high-voltage switch tester produced by our company refers to the time from the issuance of the closing control pulse to the issuance of the opening control pulse (in the case of reclosing operation, it refers to the time when the second opening control pulse is issued). The default on/off control time of the instrument is 120ms, which does not mean that all circuit breakers are set to 120ms. This value often needs to be changed according to different switches. Usually: closing and opening control time=closing time+T (5ms ≤ T ≤ 20ms)
Set the closing and opening control time to "0", which means that the closing and opening control pulses are output simultaneously without any human delay, relying entirely on auxiliary contacts to switch the closing and opening coil circuits. At this point, the minimum closing and opening time (golden short time) of the circuit breaker can be tested, but some circuit breakers cannot adapt to unmanned delayed closing and opening operations, resulting in abnormal opening, such as insufficient opening energy causing longer opening time and slower speed.
Attachment: Set the on/off control to 0, and the two pulses will be continuously output throughout the entire testing time. At this time, it is necessary to set the testing time reasonably or ensure that the circuit breaker anti trip device is functioning, otherwise it will be closed again after completing one on/off.
The on/off time test is to check the mechanical performance of the circuit breaker during the on/off (reclosing) operation (breaking ability in case of line faults). Most circuit breaker manufacturers set the on/off time at around 60ms. When the circuit breaker is tripped, the minimum time for the relay protection device to collect data is 10ms, plus the time for calculation and judgment, output relay connection, etc. Therefore, it is feasible to send the opening control pulse 20ms after closing.
Time setting for opening, closing, and controlling
The opening and closing time (no flow time) is required to be equal to 300ms, and the opening and closing control is set as opening time+300- closing time, where the closing time and opening time are single closing and single opening measurement values. (The control time setting method for opening and closing in the opening and closing test is the same as that in the opening and closing test)
