1. If overcurrent protection occurs during CT excitation characteristic testing, the following methods can be tried to solve it:
(1) Reduce the boost speed
(2) Reduce the maximum test current
2. During CT testing, overheating protection occurs:
The instrument has overheat protection function. When the internal temperature reaches 75 degrees, it will cause the overheating light to turn on. At this time, it is necessary to shut down and suspend use or place the instrument in a room temperature environment to cool down before continuing to use.
3. Fault prompts during CT testing:
During use, the instrument may display a warning that the malfunction light is on. For recoverable faults, the fault light will turn on and disappear after shutting down and restarting. If the fault light still lights up and cannot be eliminated after powering on again, you need to contact our company to return to the factory for repair.
4. During CT testing, there may be wiring error prompts:
(1) Check if the test wire is intact, if the test clip is firmly in contact with the CT terminal, and if the test wire has poor conductivity or if the contact of the test clip is poor, it can cause unstable measurement data and lead to wiring error alarms.
(2) Check if the instrument output function is normal using the following method:
Short circuit S1 of "Voltage Measurement 1" to S1 of "Voltage Output", and short circuit S2 of "Voltage Measurement 1" to S2 of "Voltage Output". Connect the multimeter to the "voltage output" and select the AC voltage gear.
Go to System Settings ->Calibration, the interface is as follows:
Input a value of 1-360 at the S1-S2 voltage output, click start, and the instrument will start outputting. After reaching the set voltage, observe whether the reading of the multimeter matches the "S1-S2 voltage measurement". If it does not match, please contact our company for factory repair.
